Dr. Shoshara just returned from leading a week-long medical mission trip serving Syrian refugees in Jordan for the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS). For 6 days, Dr. Shoshara led a team of over 60 physicians who cared for Syrian refugees all across the country. In total, his team treated over 6,000 patients. Among them, his team’s surgeons provided needed reconstructive surgeries to 34 refugees, and their cardiologists provided 39 cardiac catheterizations to refugees with critical heart disease.
