Announcing  the newest members of our family!



 

Congratulations to Nurse Practitioner Kim Gubbins who welcomed her first child, Rosie, into the world on March 1st.   Mom and baby are doing very well and we can’t help but oooh and aaah over this little adorable one!








Congrats are also in order to Julian TangMD on the birth of his little sweetie, Emilia!  Born on St. Patrick’s Day, she was welcomed home by twins Ian and Jia. 

Dr. Tang has a knack for having his kids on holidays since the twins were born on Valentine’s Day 2012!  Welcome to the world, sweet little one!

Common and unpredictable, the influenza virus can cause serious complications including death in even the healthiest children.  In the United States, about 5% to 20% of the population will be diagnosed with influenza every year, causing over 200,000 hospitalizations.  Last year, there were at least 77 children that died from influenza, and this does not include deaths that were caused by secondary complications such as pneumonia and respiratory failure.  The 2010/2011 flu season data reported 49% of deaths in children from influenza...
