Pediatric Health welcomes home Dr. Jihad Shoshara from his medical mission trip to Jordan where he and an incredible team of physicians saw over 3,500 Syrian refugees.
Reading the plight of some of the sickest refugees is heartbreaking. Yet it also makes you think how fortunate we are to live here in the U.S.
Day 0 Preparations:
*****************************************************
World Vision and The CareLink Foundation present:
6K FOR WATER on May 6th at 9 AM in Naperville
Registration begins at 8:30 am at the River Road South Front parking lot of Pediatric Health’s Naperville office.
Did you know that some children have to walk 6 kilometers (3.72 miles) daily
in order to collect water for their families? For some this can take 3 hours to
complete and they can only collect as much as they can carry. In addition to
the distance, the water they walk to collect is unsanitary can ultimately make
them sick.
Wont’ you please help change this?
Please join us by registering to walk/run to help change lives and provide clean
water solutions for communities in need.
How do I register?
You may register at:
**Every $50 registration fee provides clean water to one person (children 15
and under can sign up for just $25!) This entitles you to a t-shirt, race bib and
medal.
Access to clean water is something we all deserve. Help end their
walk by signing up for yours!
