From the moment you hold your baby in your arms for the first time, you understand the saying “babies don’t come with a manual”.  You’ll probably read a lot of books, blogs and articles on raising a happy and healthy baby, but who do you turn to when you have questions regarding growth and development?  For many new parents, the amount of information on the Internet can quickly become overwhelming and cause worry when it is not necessary.

From your baby’s first appointment with a Pediatric Health Associate Physician or
Nurse Practitioner, we will explain to you the different milestones, perform health and weight checks, and be there for you every step of the way during this new adventure in your life.

Common and unpredictable, the influenza virus can cause serious complications including death in even the healthiest children.  In the United States, about 5% to 20% of the population will be diagnosed with influenza every year, causing over 200,000 hospitalizations.  Last year, there were at least 77 children that died from influenza, and this does not include deaths that were caused by secondary complications such as pneumonia and respiratory failure.  The 2010/2011 flu season data reported 49% of deaths in children from influenza...
